Seven Sisters and Preston Manor
Yesterday we went to the Seaford area to see the Seven Sisters cliffs.
There is a walk along the top of the cliffs from Seaford to Eastbourne that is part of the South Downs Way walking path. It was windy when we visited and we didn’t have a lot of time to go for a hike.
There are sheep grazing in the area.
This morning, we went over to Hove Park do Park Run with my sister. It was warm, it felt around 85 F, so we didn’t have good times, but we all completed the 5K run, then had a mid-morning snack at the café in the park afterwards.
Afterwards we got cleaned up a bit and went over to Preston Manor which was open for tours and ate in the café after our tour.
The manor church was having a fundraising sale, my sister got an aloe plant.
Then we returned home and my nephew was back from soccer practice and we solved several Gravitrax puzzles with him. There seem to be a number of different sets sold, the set we were using had a book of puzzles that gave a starting spot, and ending spot and a list of pieces to use. He’s quite good at the needed spatial reasoning to figure out how to connect them.
